2008: Birmingham, 'The Triangle'

A competition proposal for the regeneration of this brownfield site in a key location just 10 minutes from Birmingham city centre. ‘The Triangle’ is a sustainable urban mixed use development with 137 houses and flats, ranging from 2 storeys to 14 storeys overlooking a sunny public plaza. The development includes a replacement supermarket with shops, café / pub, community health centre and possible live / work units. 100% car parking is achieved using a hidden semi-basement level taking advantage of the site slope, with separate parking for commercial and community functions.
