2009: Wolverhampton, Bushbury

Development of 100+ environmental homes on a brownfield site to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 5. Masterplanning and massing is based on small groupings of 2 and 3 storeys mews and terraces to encourage neighbourly interaction and enhance security. An organic circulation spine connects the dwellings with the adjacent park and surrounding context. Features include: central bio-mass boiler; extensive roof mounted photovoltaic panels; solar hot water panels and water saving measures. All roofs have been orientated south to maximise solar performance.
