1998: Sandwell, Lyttleton Street INTEGER Housing

Following the completion of the INTEGER Millennium House in 1998, this was one of the first of our Pilot projects to apply Intelligent & Green ideas in the real world. We created an affordable development of 12 flats and 3 houses.  Intelligent & Green technology included timber panel construction, high insulation levels, solar water panels, grey water recycling, networked cabling for telephony, digital TV and IT. We worked closely with the Residents Association who were proud of their homes. Local schools participated in an education programme. We created a large inter-active model of the scheme which was exhibited as the centerpiece of the British Pavilion in Expo 2000 at Hannover.
