1993: Windsor, Savill Garden, New Temperate House

Winner of design and build competition with Wates Integra for new public glasshouse, Savill Garden, Windsor Great Park, to display part of the National Rhododendron collection. This is a simple building representing excellent value, designed and delivered in only 26 weeks and demonstrating Intelligent & Green principles. The building has automatic ventilation and frost protection, a cleaning gantry runs the length of the roof, a 30m side wall is fully openable, there is a suspended high level walkway. Completed 1993 and opened to the public by HRH the Queen.
